Nexus International for Consultancy and Training Company

Mohammed Khaled

Senior Consultant - Managing Partner
Mr. Khaled has a Master Degree in “. Cooperation for The Development of Rural and Forest Areas by Sustainable Use of Natural Resources”. Mr. Khaled is working currently as a Senior Consultants and Managing Partner of Nexus International for Consultancy and Training Company.
Mr. Khaled had worked as a Director General of Inash Alusra Association, a famous Palestinian Women Organization that was established in 1965, between January 15, 2018 and November 15, 2020. Mr. Khaled was responsible for the overall management of the society’s 24 departments and sections, 105 fulltime and about 85 par-time employees with multimillions annual budget. Mr. Khaled was managing multi-disciplinary humanitarian and developmental interventions including but not limited to: academic education, vocational training, culture, business development, women empowerment, and many others aspects.
Before that, Mr. Khaled had worked for about 9 years in coordinating We Effect (A Swedish INGO) operations in the region to achieve its vision of a sustainable world free from poverty and injustice. Mr. Khaled was managing multi-disciplinary humanitarian, recovery and developmental interventions including but not limited to: organizational development, women economic empowerment, gender equality, Micro, Small Medium and Enterprises (MSMEs) development, M4P, rural development, cooperatives development, agriculture, WASH, food security, good governance, micro finance and housing…etc.
Besides his country responsibilities, Mr. Khaled was having regional responsibilities including but not limited to, developing methods and work tools, regional planning and providing trainings to other country offices and their partners. Mr. Khaled was also a member in We Effect Thematic Expert Group Rural Development in behalf of Europe and Asia Region. Mr. Khaled was also a member of the team who developed We Effect Quality Management System. During Mr. Khaled’s work and study, and through the frequent field visits and regional meetings, Mr. Khaled have been exposed to the developmental context of about 20 countries. He learnt a lot and contributed to promoting the values of democracy and respect of human rights. Mr. Khaled has good experience in Human Rights Based approach (HRBA).
Mr. Khaled had occupied other positions with International and local organizations; he had worked as Grants Coordinator/ Agricultural Specialist at ACDI-VOCA, Instructor at An-Najah University/ Faculty of Agriculture. He had worked as Agronomist/Fresh Herbs Specialist at CARANA CORPORATION, Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Senior Extension Agent at Arab Center for Agricultural Development (ACAD). Mr. Khaled had worked as outreach specialist with Care International as well. Mr. Khaled is an expert in global standards for agriculture production. I am a certified Global GAP auditor and trainer for Quality Management Systems (QMS), Fruit and Vegetables and Propagation Materials Sub-scopes since 2007.
Mr. Khaled has gained long experience and knowledge in International NGOs’ programs and operations management: programmatic, financial, administrative, planning, staff development and training skills, advocacy, communication, logistics etc. He has experiences in working with multi donors (Sida, OCHA, UNDP, USAID, and some experience with Europe Aid, ECHO CIDA/Canada, etc.), fundraising and strong representational experience.
Mr. Khaled has accumulated over 21 years of extensive and comprehensive experience in in organizational development including providing specialized innovative designs and solutions for the integration and harmonization of an organization’s four Ss: Strategic Planning, Structuring and Restructuring, Systems Development (Management, Financial, Procurement, Operational, and Policies) and Staff Development.
